Elaine Peters, Jordan Village Historian: I have loved exploring the past for as long as I can remember. I love listening to people's stories and how they fit in with history. A visit to a historical museum in the 5th grade encouraged my lifelong pursuit of the understanding of the past. History is more than just dates. It's discovering how memories and events weave together the fabric of a community. History is a window to our past and a door to our future. I look forward to sharing this journey through history along the Towpath together.
